At Sol International School (SIS), students are taught and trained for global employment. This involves our trilateral mission statement which includes theory, practical training and internships. It is this third side of our mission statement that sets SIS apart from other universities and peers.
There are schools in Korea with courses taught in English. There are schools in Asia with distinguished faculty members. There are schools all over the world with international internships. Then there is SIS in Korea that fulfills all three on one campus in the heart of South Korea.
The drive for excellence in professional education stems from SIS’s own core belief in intensive learning with an all-year-long school year taught by industry specific experts to bridge the gap between theory and practice. This is capped with an opportunity to realize SIS’s mission statement in an overseas internship experience.
Since its inception in 2014, SIS has successfully placed students in internships all over the world. There are SICA, SIRES and SIHOM students currently experiencing internships, in Asia, Oceania, Middle East, Europe and the United States in some of the world-renown hotel groups like Accor, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, Intercontinental, Kempinski, Kensington, Lotte, Westin, Sheraton, Marriott and PIC.
There are students from SIMED, SIMA, and SIRA who are engaging in some of the most trend-setting industries ranging from medical tourism, graphic design and logistics in Dubai, UAE; Adelaide, Australia; and Hanoi, Vietnam. The result of our endeavor for the past few years has been to empower and nurture students to gain experience beyond their perspective and set their horizons globally.
Internships are available to all our students for periods of six and twelve months. Internships may be taken from the first semester of the third year or later. Internships are an excellent way to gain job placement immediately following graduation.
While we make every effort to place all students in the internship of their choice, students holding passports from some countries may be restrictive in their placement due to immigration laws in the desired destination country.
