Our Global Hotel Management (글로벌호텔매니지먼트 학과) department had a busy summer period in 2021.

Seven students were recently hired as full-time permanent employees by hotels in Saipan, U.S.A. (Kensington Hotel – 3 students, Coral Ocean Resort – 3 students, Pacific Islands Club - 1 student). The recruitment process took over 6 weeks but had an excellent outcome. Out of eight students who applied for jobs, seven students were successfully hired. That is an 87.5% success rate!

This is the 2^nd year that our Global Hotel Management students were hired by these hotels. In 2020, 10 students were hired as permanent employees. This is an encouraging trend. This department has become renowned for conducting international internship programs in various countries in America, Europe, and Asia. Our industrial partnership between our Hotel Management department and the Kensington Hotel, Coral Ocean Resort, and Pacific Islands Club in Saipan started in 2018 and has a successful track record.

Our students have worked at these hotels and resorts every year since 2018 as interns at the Kensington Hotel and at the Pacific Islands Club. These hotels have recognised the good preparation, skills, competencies, and high professionalism of our students.

As a result of their high satisfaction with the work performance of the interns, these hotels decided to offer full-time permanent positions to graduates and accepted to sponsor them for obtaining work visas allowing them to work in the U.S.A.

The COR (Coral Ocean Resort) hotel is planning a grand opening this year in November. This hotel decided to rebuild their property after it was damaged by a Typhoon in July 2019. The COR hotel has hired 3 graduates for their grand opening team, providing unique and beneficial work experience as they begin their careers.
