Academia and Hospitality Industry relations need to remain even stronger now during the pandemic crisis to maintain resilience, creativity, and innovation as our key competencies. When we started our fruitful collaboration with IHG Academy and InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang Resort in 2018, thanks to our friend and supporter Eric Swanson, 64 of our Sol International Hospitality Management Department students have been engaged in that program; gaining valuable experience, training, and IHG certificates. Conducting interviews with more than 30 SIS SIHOM Department students for their winter program recruitment in IHG Alpensia Resort.

We were also receiving comments and suggestions on our developing curriculum for the 2021 Academic year. HR Director Sophia Hwang is officially an external reviewer for our SIHOM curriculum, and we had a meaningful discussion about that matter.
It is quite apparent that to maintain our competitiveness for our hospitality programs, we need to keep active relations with industry leaders. This way, we are providing multiple competitive advantages for our students even before their graduation.
