Smart Structure Design Lab

The Smart Structure Design Lab (SSDL) was established in 2017 on June 1st after receiving the government research funding from the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea. It is one of the only labs in Korea run by international faculty, our very own Global Railroad and Transport Management department head Dr. Binayak Bhandari. SSDL aims to development smart structure designs that can be applied widely for various industrial fields. They do research in the fields of smart materials, Computation Fluid Dynamics, Renewable Energies, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things (IOT), and other related technologies for innovative convergence with other cutting-edge technologies from ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
